Top of the World, is going to be our crowning glory, our jobs are known for trees and beauty, just go look at the ones down the street in Ashland, where the trees are so wonderful, at Strawberry Patch, ( it was a strawberry field for a farm where the shopping center sits on Rt 126 and Elliot Street. Just behind the shopping center, is the section of townhomes, I called Strawberry Patch to remember forever the past, when my friends and I walked up the hill from our houses in Framingham to the farm.....Often there were jobs picking strawberries available if the "kids" wanted them , but most had paper routes, and baby sitting jobs.
The area, including Ashland and Holliston, is rich in history, with street names like Meeting House Path, in Ashland, because in early Colonial days, people went to their meeting house by horse and wagon paths. Old Connecticut path came somewhere near by , so we named a street near where it could have been, in Colonial days, Old Connecticut Path, just down the road in Ashland., off Chestnut Street,... and in Holliston, we have Governor Prence, Mohawk, and other names to honor the past..
