The interest rates have to start up soon...!! It is only a matter of time. Today I noted that we paid as little as $3.19 a gallon for gas yesterday in the Carolina's.....and today on the way home through New York and Massachusetts it went from $3.39 to $3.42 cents....figure that at 30 gallons or whatever your car holds.....that is a big difference ....why?
The only way to beat the dropping value of the dollar is to invest in what has been proven over the 100's of years....real estate. You can't invest in some thing you can't use....unless you have money in excess of your needs...and plenty to cover the cost of the investment...but, you can invest in a home which you will use.
Think about it...homes were once under $100'000.00 in our area, a townhome could be purchased for under $50,000.00 new....think of the increase in value over 40 years....tremendous...and yes the taxes and the cost of living have all increased...but there is still value in your home.....
